Gwen Beebe is a Senior Homeless Services Specialist on the ICF team, providing direct TA to communities and working on data-focused projects. They started in southwest Washington as the first point of contact for coordinated entry and over-the-phone shelter placements before moving to a direct service role providing prevention and diversion. They left direct service and found their home as an HMIS admin, first in southwest Washington and then for Indianapolis, and have consulted independently for CoCs across the nation. These experiences helped form the lens they now use to help evaluate and re-shape HMIS systems in ways that work for everyone, from field staff to funders. They believe in celebrating small wins, that listening to our data will always help us better serve our clients, and that homelessness is solvable.
