Dr. Chettiar is a clinician, policy leader, and experienced healthcare executive. The focus of her professional career has been providing integrated medical and social care to low-income, medically complex populations. Alexis's experience includes leading PACE clinical services and building Medi-Cal waiver programs. During the pandemic, Alexis formed a nonprofit with a colleague which has implemented a novel model of care that uses a blend of Medicaid waiver programs to support people medically-frail people coming out of homelessness to age in place, regardless of how their care needs change over time.
